Carson Cook
CEO
Carson is the Founder and CEO of Membrane leveraging years of experience building trading and market making technology in the digital asset ecosystem.
Carson also founded the DeFi liquidity solution, Tokemak, and worked previously in the fintech/financial services group at McKinsey & Co.
He holds a PhD in Physics as well as a Masters in Electrical Engineering.

Will Galvin
COO
Will leads Membrane’s global operations bringing years of executive experience spanning multiple industries.
He previously spent over a decade at Gorta, a global economic development group, in various senior operational roles. He also co-founded a digital payments platform for the international humanitarian sector.
Will began his career as a trial attorney specializing in asylum, refugee, and criminal law.

Federico Caccia
CTO
Federico leads the company’s technology strategy, overseeing the development of innovative solutions that solve Tradfi and Defi business problems.
Federico holds an MS in Nuclear Engineering with over ten years of experience in software development and architecture. He is also the current CEO at Rather Labs, a blockchain development firm that specializes in developing cutting-edge blockchain solutions for businesses of all sizes.

Craig Birchall, CFA
Head of Lending
Craig leads Membrane’s lending product suite spearheading design, development, and implementation.
He joined Membrane from Galaxy Digital where he helped launch Galaxy’s Principal Lending franchise serving global institutions and corporations in the digital asset ecosystem.
Before crypto, Craig spent years in structured lending at J.P. Morgan focused on complex/exotic financing solutions for strategic clients across lines of business.

James Roth
Head of Growth
James leads Membrane’s growth initiatives – overseeing partnerships, sales, and marketing efforts.
Previously, James was Galaxy Digital’s Global Head of Business Development serving on the executive committee. He has also held growth-focused leadership roles at Menai Financial Group and Ripple.
Prior to joining the crypto industry in 2016, he spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs in trading and sales roles.

Michael Geraci
Head of Derivatives
Michael is responsible for guiding the design, development, and implementation of Membrane’s derivative product line.
He previously held a leadership role at Arca Funds as head trader, where he oversaw the management of derivative and spot risk for both hedging and generating alpha.
Previous to his involvement in the cryptocurrency industry, Michael gained experience in the equity and credit derivative markets through his work at Deutsche Bank, GFI, and Ascendiant Capital.
